Warm Up

Still cold isn’t it?  I guess that’s what happens when Winter is almost upon us – hahaha.  Here’s a tip to get the blood pumping and warm you up…..HUNDREDS!  Start with some gentle stretches – how about lumbar stretch and cat stretch – and then complete two sets of hundreds.  In between sets allow your abdominals to recover by taking three big cleansing breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.  When you’re doing your hundreds remember to pump your arms quite vigorously from the shoulder joint and use your abdominal muscles (not your neck) to hold yourself forward .  After the second set, take your knees in to your chest and give yourself a hug!
